How long will it take for my order to be shipped?
Unless notified, orders will be shipped within 10 business days. You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information.
Where do you get the North Carolina sand/shells?
As mentioned in the About section, Richard and I love beach combing! We combine sand and shells collected from all coastal regions of North Carolina including: The Outer Banks, The Crystal Coast, Swansboro area beaches, Topsail Island Beaches, Wilmington area beaches, and Brunswick Island beaches. Our clam shell jewelry is made with locally sourced Quahog clam shells.
Do you do custom orders?
Yes. We can use sand, shells, etc. from your collection. We can also use items from our treasure box that includes specific North Carolina beaches as well as other worldwide locations. Contact us for more information. Additional time/cost may be incurred.
What type of metal is used in your jewelry?
All of our jewelry is either 925 sterling silver or 14K gold-filled.
May I shop with Your Island Treasure in person?
Yes, we would love to meet you! Check out our calendar for dates and locations of the many festivals, markets and events we have scheduled. If you are in the Topsail Beach area, contact us to schedule a time to visit our home studio — available by appointment only.
Do you have a return/replacement policy?
We love happy customers! If you are dissatisfied with your Treasure due to a problem in manufacturing, we will gladly repair it or replace it. If we no longer offer that item, an item of equal value will be offered. Shipping fees may apply.

How should I care for my Treasures?
We love happy customers and want you to know how to care for your treasure. Most of the pieces created at Your Island Treasure are Sterlings Silver/14k Gold Filled and are set with resin. Following are some tips:
Storage: Store your jewelry in a clean, dry and airtight place. We suggest small plastic bags.
How to Clean: It is a great idea to regularly wipe the metal (Sterling Silver/14k GF) with the polishing cloth included with your purchase.
Keep it dry: We have had many customers say they never remove our jewelry. We love that, but we can’t recommend it. It is best to remove your jewelry while exercising, showering, cleaning and swimming.
Things to avoid:
- Excessive heat and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
